Beat Lvl 8 pretty quickly this time, but tried Lvl 9 for like 30 minutes with no success. Level selection would be nice :)
Wow that is some serious dedication! Impressive.
If you're interested in extending the game yourself, I made the project open source. https://github.com/microlancer/blind-maze
Thanks!
Hey! I've tried the game again. It worked this time.
I enjoyed it. I had the most fun when i tried to get through a level as quickly as possible. Maybe a scoring system based on how quick you beat a level would be cool. You could even set up an online highscore, competetive players like me might get hooked.
Check out silentwolf for an easy way to set up online highscores without having to host your own server. I've used it for a gamejam before. It has documentation for godot integration.
Anyway, i gave up on Level 8
Another idea from my partner, that i found interesting: add "powerups" that give you temporary flashes of vision of the map once you hit them.
Oh that's a sweet idea, thanks! Very creative.
Oh, thanks for trying the game again! Good suggestion on the timer and online highscore. It's kind of a rage puzzle game so I'm impressed you made it to level 8.
Godot is pretty fun to build in, I'll check out silentwolf!
Played it on edge and it worked just fine. Good game but it got incredibly difficult after level 4, I barely completed it and gave up on 5.
Not bad! Level 5 is a solid result. Thank you for your feedback!!
I am unable to play on Chrome on PC. The game does not fit on my screen. Might have to add some resolution scaling.
Oh, thank you for the feedback! Let me see if I can fix the scaling!
